Meet the staff at L&B Auto Repair

Howard & Mary Lewis, Owners

Howard & Mary Lewis have been providing quality automotive service to Snohomish County residents since 1980. Howard began working on cars and trucks when his parents moved to Snohomish 33 years ago so he could attend a high school with an auto shop curriculum. He specializes in diesel engine repair and general automotive service. Howard concentrates his time on managing the business, while Mary says she does everything else. He served as the Chairman of the Board of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) in 2000. Mary says L&B's long list of returning customers is a credit to her husband. "Howard is honest and straightforward in everything he does. People appreciate that even if it's not what they want to hear." Howard & Mary are actively involved in the community, including the Snohomish Kiwanis. They have been married since 1969 and have two children. Heather, 26, lives in San Francisco; and, Kevin, 24, lives in Bellevue.


Marie Guderjohn, Service Writer

Marie is the service professional who usually greets you when you first walk through the door. She's worked for L&B since 1998, and stumbled upon the position by chance. "I was a long-time customer of L&B. They had a position open, and I'm still here because of the quality service they provide." Marie lives in Silvana, and has two grown children, Mike, 36, and Matt, 35. She's a member of the Snohomish Lion's Club and does craft work in her spare time. She adores her two granddaughters, Anita & Kelly, who live in Texas.


Perry Berg, Service Technician

Perry loves working at L&B so much, he lives right next door! Perry has worked at L&B since 1997. He has more than 20 years in the automotive service industry. Before coming to L&B, Perry specialized in brake and alignment repairs. "L&B really treats their employees well, and that translates into great service for our customers." Perry and wife Maryann are busy raising two sons, Will, 11, and Tom, 4. Perry enjoys attending Will's basketball tournaments on a regular basis. In their free time, they take long drives in the mountains and enjoy traveling with their kids.


Warren Stommel, Service Technician

Warren has the honor of being with L&B the longest - since 1995. He has worked for 20 years as a service technician, and currently holds the title of Service Master from ASE. He specializes in "automotive drive-ability," which means he is the front man to diagnose car troubles. Warren & his wife Barbara spend all their spare time raising two wonderful kids, ages 4 and 10 years. Warren commutes to L&B from Kirkland, WA, and we asked why? "Good people," was his response. Enough said.


Jon Orso, Service Technician

Jon Orso is the newest employee at L&B Auto Repair, bringing 20 years of experience in the automotive service industry. Jon is ASE certified with the title of Master Technician. He is knowledgeable in all types of auto service, and holds certification by the State of Washington as an emissions tester. When asked why he wanted to work for L&B, Jon said that he was impressed with the well-equipped repair facility and friendly atmosphere. Jon recently moved to Snohomish from Everett to be closer to work, and he is "very happy" to live in this great community. He spends his spare time enjoying outdoor activities with his four youngest children, ages 4, 7, 9, and 10.
